They are the same pearls used in those new, trendy "Boba" bars. Available in traditional (black) or colorful green tea style, these pearls will turn soft and irresistibly chevy after cooking, adding a whole new dimension to your frozen or blended drinks. Easy cooking instructions are included on every bag, and can also be viewed here (Note: Cooking instructions will open in a new window). Each bag contains 3 kilograms (6.6 lbs) of semi-cooked pearls, enough for dozens of applications: only cook what you will use right away, save the rest for later.
